Due to the rising effects of global warming, the united nations has called upon all stakeholders to take action in order to cub the grievance. As steps of hope Africa we decided to take action as environmental activists on the same cause. Under environmental conservation, we do the following activities;
Steps of hope Africa takes part in planting of nature friendly trees. We buy seedlings using the little money we contribute as well as donations. We also go ahead to fight the rising levels of deforestation through sensitising the masses about its dangers. We hope to join hands with you to conserve the environment through your support.
As steps of hope Africa, we take part in conserving the nature through proper disposal and collection of polythene bags, plastics, broken bottles and many others on a small scale. If we get enough funding and empowerment from kind people like you, we hope to do better and conserve our lovely environment for future use.
As founder members of steps of hope Africa, we physically and financially engage ourselves in community sensitisation about the dangers of destroying the environment. During this, we found out that people destroy the environment by cutting down trees to get charcoal which is used as fuel in our dear land Africa.
They also cut down trees to provide room for expansion as a result of the growing population.So we try all our best to sensitise and create awareness to the population about the benefits and Importances of conserving our environment.
If we work together, I guarantee you that we can turn the world look like the first day of its creation.
Being the 2nd leading foreign exchange earner for the pearl of Africa (Uganda), tourism in western Uganda especially fort portal tourism city is still virgin!. As steps of hope Africa as well as tourism students at mountains of the moon university, we decided to promote tourism as one of our big responsibilities in the society.
We do so through advertising for tourism products and its potential in this region using our official website, YouTube channels and many other social media platforms. We also go ahead and meet the potential stakeholders that wish to invest and uplift the status of the tourism sector.
We visit places like amabere caves, kibale national park, aramaga rift valley lodge, tooro kingdom palace and so many. We therefore call upon any volunteer from different corners of the globe to join hands and support our projects.
